Well alright, look what we got for Christmas! We had a signed Halflight EP, but we’ve now got a supercool Bush Simply Audio desktop CD Player with FM radio built in! It’s brand new, still in its box. This’d be a fine addition to any bedroom, office, kitchen, garage, broomcupboard or anywhere with a plug socket.

Fancy it? All you’ve got to do is offer us something in return. So -any offers?

2: Signed Halflight CD

Here it is, folks, here’s our first new thing! We had some good offers, but this is the one that came through. It’s a SIGNED copy of awesome Cardiff band Halflight‘s latest CD, Pick Me. We’ve got the CD but we don’t yet have the signatures – we’ll be getting the band to scrawl their names across the cover as soon as I’ve been to the pen shop to buy a marker pen. There aren’t too many of these around – the CD was originally a limited edition of 1000, there aren’t many left in the shops, and there certainly aren’t many with genuine autographs on them.

Here’s our first thing: it’s a green Samaritans wristband, and we want to swap it for something.

This desirable fashion accessory fits most wrists, looks cool and shows that you’re a kind-hearted soul that supports positive emotional health. We advise against using them to replace broken fanbelts, however.

So here it is, the first entry. Welcome along to the Cardiff Samaritans Super Swap. Here’s a diagram explaining what this site is all about:

There, I hope that’s cleared up any questions you might have! What’s that? That doesn’t explain a thing? Ok, here’s what’s going on: this is a site set up by Cardiff & District Samaritans, the only 24 hour emotional support service in Wales. We have a green rubber Samaritans Wristband, and we want to swap it for a car. And we need your help to do this. How? And why do we want a car?
